DDN wrestling coverage

from John Cummings of the Dayton Daily News

Greetings,
I will once again be covering wrestling for the DDN this winter.

I am trying to round up schedules for all the teams in the area to try and go through and pick matches to try to get them on the budget for DDN so they will get covered - hence giving the sport more coverage.

I am also working on the preview for the varsity section: Top 10 wrestlers in the area (any nominations must include 2009-10 weight classes), top five matches and 5 things to watch (rule changes/interesting story lines, etc.)

Any help you can provide would be most appreciated. If you have any story ideas throughout the season, or any big matches, let me know and I will do my best to get it covered.

Thanks -
John Cummings

Top 10 Poll and DDN features

from Brian U.

"Coaches send a top 10 poll for your division and do this before the Thursday of that week. If you need any help you can ask me. I work on all three divisions.

Also I am looking for ideas to give to the Dayton Daily News for feature articles. These ideas don't have to be about your best wrestlers. Give me the information and the numbers to reach you! My e-mail address is: bdurquha@dps.k12.oh.us

Thank you so much for your involvement in high school wrestling and good luck this season!"
